Finally getting excited about photography after about 15 years of personal family photos. Started taking pictures of my son's sports and found out that the kids really appreciate their picture taken. Enjoy outdoor photography mostly, but getting better at indoor sports photos.
Kirsti works for Morrow County in the Public Works Dept. and took the dive into photography for a hobby in the year 2000 when her son was born. Kirsti enjoys taking images of wildlife, scenery, and special life moments but is most often seen on the sidelines or in the stands with a camera in hand at school sporting events. She owns and operates KC4 Photos.
“As the saying goes a single photograph is worth a thousand words; Photography is an individual’s way of capturing a moment in time and preserving it for the future without having to write a word.”
Danielle lives in Umatilla county and has been doing photography for 10 years now. With her business DGP Danielle Gambill Photography, she has shot wedding, family, portrait, and nature photos, but her heart belongs to sports photography. As a wife, a nurse, and mother to 2 amazing student athletes of Pilot Rock High School, photography is her number one hobby, as she is completely self taught.
"I love photography because it captures those special moments in time and saves them for eternity."
My name is Tanni Wenger, I am the owner/operator of Tanni Wenger Photography Studio in John Day, Oregon. My husband and I live in John Day with our two daughters.
I have lived in Grant County my entire life and I love the small communities and schools here. I began taking photos of the various sporting events for all of the local schools in Grant County in 2009. I was able to open my own studio in 2011. Now I still photograph sports, but also do portrait and landscape work. I love following the kids through their sports careers, a lot of the athletes you see on my site are kids I have photographed since elementary school. Watching them grow and mature into young adults is truly the best part of my job. I feel truly blessed to turn my hobby of photography into my full time career.
